Better Than Expected...
We were fortunate in getting "Rowan" cottage, which had a lovely outdoor private patio, with an excellent view of the harbour and plentiful bird life. It was also a lovely day weather wise. A lovely place to stay, clean with everything provided. Friendly staff, a very enjoyable place to stay, we would definitely return.

Paradise with stunning views and laid out as if you are the only ones
The accommodation was excellent with daily service of room. The view of the bay was sensational. Loved the verandah where we had afternoon tea. Brilliant walks from Akaroa itself too, challenging for all. Do enjoy the scenic road too.....literally breathtaking. Not a big eater of fish and chips but from the griddle on the jetty a real must. Oh and the Dolphins, do go!

My wife and I stayed two nights - really enjoyed the whole deal
We were in a studio unit with a promised view over Akaroa town and harbour,which was reality and better than we hoped for. The unit and small touches (little box of fudge on the bed, bathroom soap etc - classy). Tea/coffee restocked, refreshing offered The young woman in reception was relaxed, helpful and interested in us.No criticisms from us

A lovely setting peaceful and relaxing was so pleasant was hard to leave and do other things. Thank you also to the helpful and friendly staff we would highly recommend to anyone needing a break, julie agnew august 6th (stayed july 2014).
