Haka Lodge is located in a suburban neighborhood with great eateries within walking distance, supermarkets and handy public buses to the central city, amazing beaches and the airport.

We offer a range of accommodation options from dorm beds to private double rooms and twin rooms to our two bed roomed self-contained apartment.

The Lodge has inherited it's great attitude from it's parent company Haka Tours (http://hakatours.com) who run adventure and snow tours of New Zealand

Haka Lodge lets you relax in what we like to call ?home style luxury?! Unwind in our comfortable lounges, whip up a storm in the kitchen, use FREE UNLIMTIED WIFI to say hi to friends and family and relax in our gorgeous eco-friendly garden filled with native plants. We have plenty of on-street car parking in front of the property.

Amazing place, definitely a class above the ordinary backpacker hostel. We stayed in the apartment, which was very nice and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Absolutely brillian
The staff is so friendly and helpful, the rooms are tidy and clean and have all amenities (twin has tv and dvd player) kitchen is a little small but even has a dishwasher and everything you need. I was very impressed, absolutely the best place I've stayed at in three weeks!!!
