Welcome to the Merivale Court Motel, and to Christchurch the Garden City.

We offer welcoming, affordable accommodation in one of the most vibrant parts of town. We are a short five minute walk from the Merivale shopping Mall, with its supermarket, restaurants and retail outlets.
An easy walk can take you to Hagley Park and the Botanic Gardens, the Museum and the Restart shopping precinct, affectionately known as the 'Container Mall'.

9 spacious units, with 3 family units, all ground floor, all with Sky TV, Wifi availability, kitchenettes, seperate shower & toilets.
All Studio units have either a queen bed or a queen bed plus a single bed in a shared room. All our units have Sky TV, DVD, good heating, electric blankets, hair dryer, radio/alarm clock and phone.
Complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar are provided.
Our motel is within walking distance of Southern Cross and St. George's hospitals, Nurse maude hospice, and several schools - St. Margarets, St Andrews, Rangi Ruru and we are next door to Selwyn House School. With bus stops very close by, and an airport shuttle readily available, access to the city, Papanui/Northlands and the airport is very easy.

Booked online, had late arrival procedure sent to me, arrived at motel to someone else in our room, no note on door, no receipt on our table, no light or heater on!! and a rude reception from ringing to find out what had happened!! wanted my credit card details even thought i had already fully paid! room was not what i booked ( wanted 2 single beds n one double, got two double, i was in chch for surgery, so my sister had to have fold out bed in closet which was time consuming to find room for n set up, as it was already 11pm when we arrived)!! blinds did not block light! tried to ring reception again but no reply, couldn't see them next day as had to be in hospital by 8.30am n manager not there till 9.30am, then in no state to complain! tho it was a nice place, i was very disappointed with what i got! as it was first trip away from my 3 preschoolers! .
