Clearwater certainly fulfilled. A 1 bedroom quay suite and the views were phenomenal. The ground floor room was large with a massive super king bed, ample open plan living and dining. Great kitchen and bathroom. Room service meals and they were reasonably priced and was promptly delivered within 30-45 minutes of ordering.
Will definitely come back again. Very nice place to stay. Quiet ( for the most part...see comment below) and the scenery overlooking the lake is lovely. The bed was huge ( i suspect 2 singles put together) and the bathroom was divine!! the only downside was that you could see where the damage i am assuming from the earhquakes on the outside of the buildings. Also the construction of another complex not far away with the digger arriving at 7a.m. But all up it was a lovely time away. . Spacious comfortable room. I was rather surprised there was no handle for the sliding door to the ensuite facilities. Wifi coverage was patchy and plenty of "snow" featured on the tv picture. Otherwise good facilities and very quiet. . Very nice place - and considering the small increment over the normal motel accommodation, it was certainly quiet, comfortable and relaxing. I have some small issues however (1) the 2% charge for credit card is stunning considering i don't know anyone who would realistically pay cash... (2) the wifi process is archaic and only supports one device per 'code' (3) the tv is terrible!!! small and rubbish reception, and (4) it's time for a spruce up with some of the fittings looking tired and rattly. I would probably stay again depending on the avail rate.... Fabulous stay in a lake view room, meals in the lakes restaurant are stunning, fantastically affordable winter package with breakfasts, wifi and a two course meal included. A great relaxing escape. |
